We have TWO exciting things planned for our members in the next few months….

#1. We have scheduled Saturday, July 19th for our members to hike Mt. Timpanogos!! In place of our regular Saturday morning WOD, we will meet together & hike Timp!! We’ve named the event “timp 4 time” but of course you can hike at whatever pace you’d like. CrossFit is all about “functional fitness” and with so many great things to do in our area, it seems crazy not to take advantage of them and put our fitness to use. We will continue posting more info as the date gets closer, but for now mark your calendar & get excited!!

#2. To mix things up AND help us get ready for Timp, we are changing Wednesday nights from “SKILLS” class to “WORK IT WEDNESDAY.” From now through July we will focus on long, endurance style WOD’s on Wednesday nights. We have noticed our members are pretty comfortable with 5-20min workouts, but how do you feel about 30+ minute WOD’s? Wednesday’s will be a chance for you to grow as athletes & maybe learn some new things about yourself. Classes will remain at 6:30pm and last 1 hour. If you come to “WORK IT WEDNESDAY” you will need to eliminate another day of training to prevent OVERtraining. For example, if you workout Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – you need to take Thursday off before coming back Friday & Saturday, and of course then resting Sunday. Please ask us if you have questions about training & rest days.
